Companies are losing money because they can’t cope with increasing business complexity. So why do they then make their own systems so cumbersome?
And why do we as individuals complicate things unnecessarily?
Maybe it’s because we believe complexity makes us look important, clever, busy. And simple doesn’t seem to convey that message.
Even though simplicity makes us feel good.
And it’s better for business.
But then simplicity is more difficult to achieve than complexity.
Making the simple complicated is commonplace;
making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that’s creativity.
