Young people have a wealth of IT skills that could be worth £6.7 billion to business, research by O2 revealed this week.
But did the survey ask why young people are not being employed, when the jobs are there, and they have these skills?
Research by Elemense higlights the disconnect that other studies have also revealed: 68.8% of (potential) employers think the current generation of students do not have:
robust attitudes and the right aptitudes to prepare for work in the knowledge-based and technology industries
