It’s not all about the money

We’re not happy at work, research by NatCen shows. Money has a part to play, but it’s far from the total picture.

There’s a disconnect when it comes to talent management, with business leaders divided on the matter of talent development. A report from the CGMA shows that 77% of CEOs advocate cutting investment in workforce skills, training and qualifications; HR directors disagree.

What’s the main reason people – particularly young people and top talent – are unhappy at work, and are leaving or looking to leave their current job?

It’s not because they’re not earning enough; it’s because they’re not learning enough.
