There’s concern in the world of IT that their professionals haven’t got the soft skills needed to work with other people. Seems the time has gone when just being a coder would get you the gig…now you’ve got to communicate too!
Leaders in the industry are on a “cross functional quest.” In a recent survey of 500 companies, 48% were equally focused on the hard/soft skills gap, while a whopping 19% were focused solely on developing soft skills.
