When you trust someone, what does it mean?
Does it mean you believe they’ll do what they say they’ll do?
Which is usually what you’d like them to do.
Or does it mean you believe they’ll act as they’ve acted up until now?
Trust in leaders is waning, if recent research from Towers Watson and Grapevine HR is correct.
Or perhaps trust is increasing.
It’s just different.
Maybe more of us are trusting leaders’ actions rather than their words.
